The earlier piece seems to have stolen a march on everyone else and publicised the thing before its actual launch, hence the lack of hard information. Some media types have therefore been on to me and filled in a few gaps.
First - there is a promotional video that they seem very proud of:
Next - the first programme will be broadcast on ITV4 on 15th March, at 7.30pm - and it will also get a repeat later in the week on ITV1 (so non-digital types will also get a chance to see it). Its not clear which programme in the series will feature the women's team - Witney Angels - but by the looks of it all of them will include some potentially interesting coaching/team building/"fun" activities that might be applicable to us, or indeed might be interesting to those of you who are doing any coaching as part of GCSE/A-level/College PE courses.
However, above all I reckon it deserves a bit if support for the simple reason that it appears to be treating a women's team just like any other rugby club - which (unless someone can say otherwise) is a long overdue first by any branch of the media.
And it might even answer the never previously answered question - how come the presenter's parents named him after a car?
