England v France in November: Dates released

RFUW have made no announcement about this, other then the anonymous official who posted on here during the Nations Cup, but England will be playing to friendlies against France this autumn ahead of the New Zealand tour.

The dates and venue have been released in France, however - indeed they were released a few months ago but no-one noticed, other than DfO (the information even failed to appear on the FFR website) and they are...
  • 30th October: French trial match
  • 2nd November: England v France (London)
  • 5th November: France v England (Calais or Grande-Synthe)
Also of interest....
  • The European Championship (ie. with full-strength squads) will be in the Netherlands from 10-20 May (interesting that this is longer than the usual week-long event of past tournaments, which implies four rounds of games instead of three)
  • There could be an international women's sevens in London on 12-13 May, which would presumably be the fourth leg of the much-rumoured (but still unannounced) Women's World Series.
  • England U20s will play France in March
