Junior Presentation Evening

This years presentation evening for boys and girls teams will be from 7pm on Saturday 25th April. The format of the evening is expected to be similar to previous years with a buffet laid on and each of the sections describing how their season has gone and making presentations to their most successful players. It should be an excellent evening for everyone connected to youth rugby at the club.

However, as this event takes place with some 4 major tournaments - Worthing 10s, RFUW London & South-East 7s, RFUW Herts 7s and RFUW National 7s - still to be played this season, the girls will have played less than half their games by this point! For example, the U18s should have played 20 games by then but have 24 still to come. In this situation it would be very unfair to expect Wonky to decide who is Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, etc. so that we could present those trophies at this event. Instead the 6 major cups for the girls section will be presented at an end of season party soon after the RFUW National 7s. Nevertheless, there will still be plenty going on at the Junior Presentation Evening to interest the girls section, especially with so many players gaining County and Regional honours, etc. (and, of course, it is an excellent opportunity to let the whole club know just how good you girls are!)

Tickets priced at £5 each are available from Mike or Heather. Everyone connected to the girls section - players, parents, coaches, etc. - is invited to attend but please note that tickets are limited - so get your order as soon as possible!
