The Letchworth Girls' Rugby 'blog originally contained news and information about girls' rugby section based at Letchworth Garden City RUFC between 2004 and 2010, but these days is mainly a source of information, discussion and speculation about women's and girls' rugby in England and overseas.

Though the girls have moved on the blog continues in order to preserve and honour the memories of the greatest bunch of young people to have ever played the game (IMHO!). It is aimed at players past and present, as well as anyone else interested in women's rugby who might be trying to make sense of what on earth is going on, even if that meant going to an unofficial and uncensored source of speculation, debate and discussion about the game.

It has no official connection with any girls' or women's teams currently representing Letchworth GC RUFC is NOT an official website within the meaning of RFU Regulation 5.

Nat's a big hit at the Legends Lane farewell

Mike will be writing the match report from this afternoon, but until then - and thanks to Rosie Randall brilliant picture (above) - here is perhaps the most memorable single moment when Natalie charge for the line came to a very sudden stop, floored and lifted off her feet by the strong right arm of Berkshire's no. 13.

Fortunately Nat was soon up again but was unable to score in her final game at Legends Lane. Fellow "graduate" Nikki also uncharacteristically failed to make it onto the scoresheet, but of the quartet of departees "Bubbles" and Jess both finished off with tries.
