From the wider world of rugby...


Remember the handbag?

You know - this one - the one that caused such an "emotional outburst" from on of New Zealand's toughest rugby players?

Well, not only has this now become the subject of a rather amusing Australian TV advert, but the former owner of the bag has sold it for....

NZ$22,800! (or just over £7,500)

What is more the internet auction page attracted over one million "hits" - the largest ever in New Zealand, and not bad for a country with a total popuation of only just over four million...
