U17 National Cup: The draw.

The draw has just been made - and Joe wants you on the ground in the proper white shirts etc. by 11.45.

As there are five teams, three will play in a round robin "pool" with games of up to 20 minutes each way (depending on start time - more on the below). The other two teams play in a single knock-out game of 35 minute each way.

And the draw is...

POOL (bottom pitch)
Worthing have confirmed that they aim to be at Letchworth by 12.00 and are happy with a 12.45 start. As RFUW have given us permisson make any changes to timngs and match order that in the interests of the team travelling furthest the timing of games will now be:
  • 12.45: Letchworth v Worthing
  • 1.40: Welwyn v Worthing
  • 2.35: Letchworth v Welwyn

KNOCK-OUT (middle pitch)

  • 1.30 Saracens/Fullerians vs Cramberleigh

WEATHER
Current forecast - light rain, 29mph ("near gale" force) southerly (ie. cross-field, downhill) winds. Sounds ideal!
