U20s: Spot Sasha!

Not a great bit of video this, but thus far its the only coverage of any sort (stills or video) that I have found of the England U20s in this current Nations Cup.

It comes from the USA's management, and features their try in their 42-7 defeat to England. Of rather more interest, however, is the fact that Sasha is in it (no. 17) - quite a lot in fact!

who was that England player who walked into a ruck and went straight off their feet for a penalty 5m out??

"That England player" got pulled off her feet by an American on the opposite side of the ruck to the camera - and why so shy about who you are?

John: I thought you had tightened up on anonymous posting on this site?

  3. Yes I did, but after a few months monitoring things it seemed to be getting in the way of people using to the site to make comments - especially if you had only registered users (asking for a name is no real barrier). Swings and roundabouts.

One benefit, of course, is that (thanks to this exchange) we now know that the player in question was pulled off her feet. Without it that information would never have come out (though it did look a bit odd even without that knowledge - wonder what the referee was looking at?).

  4. Vincent, your getting too sensitive!! Hands up I did post anonymously, like yourself, but omitted to put my name, I'll correct that now.

Anyhow, that refereeing decision was correct, support your own body weight and if you go off your feet your out the game, there's nobody pulling anybody off their feet, only the American #2, who shouldnt get you off your feet.

Good luck to Sasha in the remaining games.

Sensitive - never :-) LOL. Thanks for the good wishes - she's having a ball.

Re the technicalities of the whole thing - way over my head!

People who were at the games will notice that you can hear the famous cow bell in the background of the video.
