ReplyDeleteAli Donnely from Squeens states that this NZ side are not as good as the WC winners. So I think before we all get carried with a series win it is not winning the world cup. England will win this when it is next played. I watched the game last night and NZ were poor, a shadow of the side that won the WC. Any prem side could have a close game with the NZ side.
ReplyDeleteHow good were England? Not bad if you forget the drop balls, missed kicks, wrong options and poor passing. On a plus the new caps played well and hopefully will raise the standard within the squad. Katy Maclean needs to be more of a team player and kick less. Many times with players outside of her she kicked the ball away. When also is she going to give up kicking pens and cons, last night was poor.
I do not think England played well, I think NZ were a team that have not played for 3 months and it showed. Saturday will be a bigger win margin.
Hardly a 'toweling' by England over the three matches. Unforced errors, poor decision making, inability to score against 14 in 2 ten minute periods when BF player sin binned, missed penalties, wayward kicking in open play and fatigue evident in a mostly dull drawn 3rd test.
