The maple leaf files in Hertfordshire
The Canadian maple leaf flag flies alongside that of Letchworth on a cold spring afternoon, indication that I E Weldon have arrived.
Impressively kitted out and wide awake after some 15 hours or travel they touched down at Wymondley at around 2.30 yesterday, to be greeted by me, Joe, Katie, Nikki, Hayley and Carla - with some of us staying to watch their training session.
This will be Wymondley's first use as a base for a sports team - and actually it works very well, just a shame its about two miles out of town!
And today is the day for the big game...
