The Letchworth Girls' Rugby 'blog originally contained news and information about girls' rugby section based at Letchworth Garden City RUFC between 2004 and 2010, but these days is mainly a source of information, discussion and speculation about women's and girls' rugby in England and overseas.

Though the girls have moved on the blog continues in order to preserve and honour the memories of the greatest bunch of young people to have ever played the game (IMHO!). It is aimed at players past and present, as well as anyone else interested in women's rugby who might be trying to make sense of what on earth is going on, even if that meant going to an unofficial and uncensored source of speculation, debate and discussion about the game.

It has no official connection with any girls' or women's teams currently representing Letchworth GC RUFC is NOT an official website within the meaning of RFU Regulation 5.

Future shape of junior rugby: join the debate

There is quite a healthy discussion breaking out on the new "Player Pathway" proposals (see earlier post). In the continued absence of RFUW's discussion board this would seem to be the only place where this important and far-reaching document is being discussion - so why not get involved?

Its quite civilised so far, but with several different points of view being expressed - so don't be shy!

In addition the document will also be discussed at the next Herts county meeting in January, so please let Heather or Mike know about any views you may have about the proposals. Or you can contact RFUW direct using the reply form.

This is a very important document that really will affect everyone who plays, at all ages and all levels, so its important that everyone makes their views known.
