The Letchworth Girls' Rugby 'blog originally contained news and information about girls' rugby section based at Letchworth Garden City RUFC between 2004 and 2010, but these days is mainly a source of information, discussion and speculation about women's and girls' rugby in England and overseas.

Though the girls have moved on the blog continues in order to preserve and honour the memories of the greatest bunch of young people to have ever played the game (IMHO!). It is aimed at players past and present, as well as anyone else interested in women's rugby who might be trying to make sense of what on earth is going on, even if that meant going to an unofficial and uncensored source of speculation, debate and discussion about the game.

It has no official connection with any girls' or women's teams currently representing Letchworth GC RUFC is NOT an official website within the meaning of RFU Regulation 5.

11-try East destroy North East in final warm-up

East U18s look like being one of the favourites for the last ever regional title next month after destroying North East 65-0 yesterday - despite being at less than full strength! Our own Jess scored two, both near the end of the first half - one of the tries being converted by Claire from Saracens, who racked up 19 points, including a hat-trick of tries.

The U15s also won by 24-12, including a try from Sydney.
