What does the "Spirit of Rugby" look like?

Taken any good pictures recently?

The IRB have launched their latest Rugby Photograph of the Year competition. The 2009 competition - winning photo on the right - attracted over 500 entries, not just from professional photographers of professional games, but also amateur photographers entering pictures of school and junior rugby, including both boys and girls - in fact two of the past four winners have featured women's rugby.

Rules are pretty relaxed. Photographs must have been taken between July 31, 2009 and September 9, 2010 and entries must be received by 19:00 on September 10, 2010. A jpeg of no less than 300 dpi of their chosen photograph needs to be sent to photooftheyear@irb.com. The prize will go to the entry that the judges "think most captures the Spirit of Rugby" and will be announced in November. The winner gets a trip for two to the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens.
