England feature in new online magazine
A stunning image of Fiona Pocock scoring one of her hat-trick of tries from last weekend (and maybe, let's be honest here, showing off a bit?). It comes from a relaunch of the free online Rugby Player magazine, published for the Six Nations.
Unfortunately the magazine only gives the women two pages and also seems to believe that there is only one team playing in the women's six nations, but at least the photography is good.
One other matter of note is the advert on page 16 for the Play On scheme which seems to neatly edit out the more objectionable features of the original artwork. For a few moments you might think that RFU had realised their earlier mistake, but unfortunately this would appear to be chance as RFU have made no attempt to rein in the images on their actual website which remains the most jaw-droppingly inept piece of staggeringly sexist imagery that I am aware of on any official sporting website, anywhere.
