The Letchworth Girls' Rugby 'blog originally contained news and information about girls' rugby section based at Letchworth Garden City RUFC between 2004 and 2010, but these days is mainly a source of information, discussion and speculation about women's and girls' rugby in England and overseas.

Though the girls have moved on the blog continues in order to preserve and honour the memories of the greatest bunch of young people to have ever played the game (IMHO!). It is aimed at players past and present, as well as anyone else interested in women's rugby who might be trying to make sense of what on earth is going on, even if that meant going to an unofficial and uncensored source of speculation, debate and discussion about the game.

It has no official connection with any girls' or women's teams currently representing Letchworth GC RUFC is NOT an official website within the meaning of RFU Regulation 5.

Meanwhile in St Albans...

Sasha and Jess were playing for East Region U18s, who seem to have a comortable 34-0 win over Thames Valley (pictures here). Sasha was playing No.8, and it looks like Jess was flanker (see below) but... beyond that I have no idea.

Maybe Jess or Sasha might care to report back on the game?

The East Senior team are due to play their first game next week. Unfortunately Hayley missed a hastily arranged senior training session this weekend as she was ill yesterday (as some of you will know), so it will be interesting to see whether she gets into the team.

jess played flanker in the first half, then got moved to winger in the second half. I played number 8 in the first half and then got moved later on in the second half to blindside flanker.
