The big time
We've been on TV, we've had mentions in pretty much ever rugby magazine, but now its the big one - a match report in the Watton and Swaffham Times!
I suspect Mike will be loading up his report and some photos shortly (he has probably been distracted by certain dramatic performances in recent days), but until then this seem a fairly reasonable account of Sunday's game (headline aside, perhaps), and somewhat reminiscent of the report that appeared on the Swaffham Blog!
Also interesting to see that, although its in the same newspaper group as our dear Comet, the WST does publish junior sport match reports - so presumably our paper's ban on these is just the policy of the editor. Shame that.
In the meanwhile the Threlfall Photographic Agency has been busy (see above and here).

If we're really lucky we might even get a mention in THE BIG ONE the E.D.P, if they can fit us in between the carpet bowls and the darts.
ReplyDeleteBTW We didn't have anything to do with the headline (honest).
Malcolm.
As Malcolm says the paper works its own 'magic' on the headlines but following discussions with the local reporters they have been supportive in their coverage of all our teams.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos btw - camera even managed to cope with the socks!! :-)
