IRB promotional video wins award

A promotional video produced by the IRB won a major award at the 2009 New York Film Festival. It has since been viewed by 250,000 people - and now an " improved" version has been produced.
The video was kept under wraps until it was premiered as part of the IRB's presentation to the IOC earlier this month - and now the new edition has been released to everyone else.

The most significant changes are the inclusion of clips from the Sevens World Cup - and in particular more footage of women's rugby. Women featured in the original, but now they get more than just a walk-on part.

Its actually a pretty impressive piece of work. It would be interesting to see what - if anything - the other sports have produced to compete with it, not least because it would be a tough ask to compete with this.
